Robert G. Lee, MA, CI/CT

Robert G. Lee holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from Boston University where he specialized in the analysis of ASL Syntax. He is a co-author of the MIT Press book, American Sign Language Syntax: Functional Categories and Hierarchical Structure. Robert worked as a Research Assistant at Boston University's American Sign Language Linguistic Research Project where he was involved in the development of tools to assist in the linguistic research of signed languages.

Robert is also a certified (CI/CT) interpreter in private practice in the Boston area. He also presents workshops around the country on a variety of topics of interest to interpreters, teachers and linguists. Robert has served as a member of the RID's Professional Standards Committee as well as the Conference of Interpreter Trainers' Educational Standards Committee. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Interpretation.
