Keith M. Cagle,
MA, ASLTA Professional Certification

Mr. Cagle was born in Washington State and graduated from Oregon School for the Deaf. He attended NTID where he obtained a Bachelor's in Social work and CSUN for his Master's in Educational Administration. Mr. Cagle has 20 years of professional experience in working in various positions serving the Deaf community. He was the President, Vice-President and Secretary-Treasurer of national ASLTA.

He now is the new ASLTA Evaluation and Certification chairperson and has taught and researched ASL and interpreting for 15 years. He is currently a professor of ASL in the ASL Studies Program at Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. Mr. Cagle is the proud recipient of the John E. Crutchfield Award by N.C. Association of the Deaf (1996), National Leadership Training Program Fellowship at CSUN (1990) and the Stokoe Scholarship Award with Dr. Kathy Jankowski (1990).

He has numerous publications to his credit including GA-SK Etiquette, Technical Signs Manual (Theatre and Religion/Catholic), "Stalking the Signs", "Teaching Fingerspelling A-B-C", "Our ASL Instruction is Becoming Professionalized", and "How will State Monitor the Quality of Mental Health Care for the Hearing Impaired."

Keith has numerous CD-ROM WWWorkshops available such as "1000 ASL Faces", "ASL Sentence Types", "1000 ASL Jokes & Stories", "1000 Fingerspelled Words" and many more in production.
