Our Company

Signs is a comprehensive organization providing an array of services to assist interpreters to develop and prosper with a dual focus: to develop professional skills and business practices. Research has proven that the most important resource a business or government agency has is its human resources. Signs assists schools with every facet of their professional development needs and has an extensive background in developing employees to their maximum potential.

Signs provides consultation and technical assistance to individual interpreters, State Boards of Education, Educational Cooperatives, RID chapters and schools in their provision of services to deaf and hard of hearing children utilizing Sign Language interpreters. With 20 years experience in the field, Signs can assist educational entities in recruiting, interviewing, assessing, and providing on-going professional development to interpreters in their employ. Additionally, with certification and licensing standards being implemented nationwide, Signs can develop a comprehensive plan to upgrade the skills of Sign Language interpreters including Diagnostic Assessment of skills, corresponding professional development activities, mentoring, annual performance evaluation development and much more.

Signs maintains memberships and support of national and local associations of the Deaf and the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf.

We look forward to providing quality services to you
