Adan R. Penilla, II is the president of the Colorado Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Pikes Peak Affiliate. He holds an NAD IV Interpreting Certificate and qualified to interpret in legal settings in Colorado. In 1995, he was an interpreter at the World Federation of the Deaf in Vienna and is currently teaching ASL at Trinidad State Junior College. He has witten an ASL Quick Study Bar Chart, Signing for Dummies, and WW II for the Deaf. Adan lectures on Sign Language and interpreting throughout the United States and has just completed his Ph.D.
