Signs of Development is entering our 13th year of providing professional development opportunities. We were pioneers in the industry, paving the way for workshops & CEUs to be received in convenient and more cost-effective ways. We leverage technology, creativity, energy, and talents to deliver these resources to you. Since our inception, we have been excited to see other companies follow suit to expand the opportunities for professional development to interpreters. The time has flown by and we've seen so many interpreters rise to new heights in their skills and knowledge of the profession! We're into our second decade and ready to work with you to attain your goals! We are hard at work pioneering new opportunities and are putting the full force of our knowledge and experience to work—the same knowledge that has constantly and passionately worked to advance the field of Sign Language interpreting! Here's to an exciting 2011… 2012… 2013 and beyond! ~ Lynne

Communities of Practice run for four weeks (roughly one month). Communities are scheduled in eight categories with three years of topics scheduled.
Community Participants may register for any of the topic area in advance (since participation will be limited to ensure a maximum learning experience). Registering to participate in any community synchronously (as it is occurring) will enable the participants to engage in real-time discussions with other participants. However, if you are unable to participate during the time the CoP is scheduled, you may participate asynchronously in an extant version (or archived). The advantage to this is the ability to review previous discussions as well as participate at your own convenience. |
